Mt. Charleston day! Each yr the cross country team drives up to Mt. Charleston to run the Bristlecomb trail. It is 7 miles. We had to be at the school at 5:45. We didn't get home until almost 10 am. It was so nice up there. The weather was around 54 degrees. I sat in the car while the kids did their run. I read and listen to woodpeckers pecking on the trees. I tried getting a picture of a bird that was sitting in the tree as it flew off, but looked away at the wrong time and missed it. :( Now its time for a nap.

Running uphill and downhill is rough! Sitting and waiting is too. I've done it before. :)
