Day 31

Ok so you all know I have 4 boys, well sometimes it just plain sucks. (don't get me wrong I love them to death, but I wish I had at least 1 girl). My 16 yr old was asked to the Sadies dance and today they got up early and went to the park and played egg football. Well he came home covered in egg. Guess you are supposed to catch the egg without it breaking all over you. Then around 4 he was supposed to go to her house and from there they were going to the new indoor mini golf place, before the dance. Well I brought my camera already to take pictures. From all the cars in front of the house I assumed that all the moms were there taking pics. I asked to come with and he said NO. Get home and he texts me I'm sorry mom they were all there and I should have let you come. So no pics except the one I got of him before we left the house. : (

Guess I better start working on my 2 younger ones.

Day 30

This is the sweet guy who took our picture at Canes. A chicken finger place. He probably thought we were nuts.

TGIF! Today I got to have lunch with my pals Bridgette and Temple. They are hilarious. I love being around them. I always wonder why they would hang with me because I am so opposite of them (meaning very shy and quiet). I'm just thankful they are my friends. lol Love ya!

Day 29

Today I worked on making my first digital scrapbook. Wouldn't you know it, I thought I hit saved, but I guess I didn't. So I ended up redoing it. It looks cute. Can't wait to get it all printed out. Will post pics as soon as I do. Digital is fun and fast, but I still love the feel of paper and embellies.

Day 28

I went to stamp club tonight and we made 3 really cute cards and one pillow box. I brought my camera and guess what. Yep the battery was dead. Guess I have been using it a lot lately. Good thing my girlfriend Joy had her camera with her and she took a picture of us. She will email it to me tomorrow so I will load pics then.

Breakfast for "fluffies". I drink 2 a day plus one jello then a light dinner. I need to drop 30lbs before April 5. Wish me luck.

Day 25

I got my can from CoolNana last night but we weren't home. So I opened it today. I LOVE IT!

She put so much into it. Lots of goodies inside and in the box it came in.

Day 24

What a long day today was. We went to Austin's karate tournament and boy was it disorganized. We got there about 11 am and Austin did not get to compete until almost 5 pm. We did not get home until after 10:30.

Austin took 3rd in Forms, did not place in sparring because they combined 2 different divisions together and he was sparring with older and much bigger kids than he is. I forgot to take a book to read. Had it sitting on my desk and walked out with out it. : (

All in all Austin had a great time, which is what matters. He's already talking about the next one.

Day 23

OMG I have not laughed so hard and so much in a very long time. Me and the boys went to a new indoor Miniature golf course. KING PUTT! Its all under black light. I tried getting pics but most of the time I was either laughing or ducking for cover. I will say I came in 2. Not bad. We kind of made up our own rules.

Day 22

Dominic was asked to the Sadies dance today. In 3 of his classes he was handed a envelope with music notes in it. He had to spell it out to figure out who was asking him. Last enevelope had a record in it that asked him to go to the dance. You don't know how excited I am. I don't have girls so this is so cool to me. Of course over the weekend we are going to make a bouquet of music notes with a Yes for him to take to her on Monday. No school tomorrow for the kids.

Day 21

Today I decided to let my 13 yo take a picture. Here is what he took. He was supposed to get a picture of his brother and his band practicing, but he just took one of his brother behind his drums. The next time they practice here at the house I will be the one taking the picture.

Day 19

Today I had to take back some things I got for Christmas to Target. While there I decided to get some trading card holders to put all my studio G stamps that I buy from Michaels and JoAnns. So I organized them and put them in a 3 ring binder. So much easier to find what I want this way.

Day 18

The boys making Amish Friendship Bread. We were given a starter back in Dec. and the boys have been making bread every few weeks. Its so good. I had never heard of it until Liz brought it over.

Day 17

Austin received his Yellow belt today in Karate. Its his 3rd belt since starting Karate in Aug. I'm so proud of him for sticking with this. He asks to go everyday.

Day 16

Today I took the camera with me while I took Dominic to school. I thought I'd get a picture of the sunrise. I will never understand why they need to be at school by 7:00 am.

I also went to a CTMH workshop with a couple of my friends. This is what we made. Julie is so talented.

Day 15

Today I said to myself after watching the Biggest loser that if they can do it I most certainly can. So I worked out for 2 hrs. 1 hr. on the eliptical and 1 hr. on the Wii. So my picture is how many hoop spins I did.

Homeowner Shot at by Burglary Suspects

A local man is recovering after a terrifying morning. The homeowner was shot at when he came home and caught two men breaking into his house near Alexander and Tenaya.
Police say the homeowner was in his vehicle when the suspects came out of his house and shot at him three times. The homeowner, who was not hit by any of the bullets, is in the hospital being treated from some cuts he suffered from the shattered glass.
The man told police he had just returned home from taking two of his children to school. Two other children were in the home at the time of the alleged burglary.
"It's unknown if the two juveniles scared the suspects out of the house, door was kicked and this is a common practice for people who are going to do a burglary," said Barbara Morgan, Metro.
Police say the two men were seen leaving the area in a white Ford Focus. There could be a third man who was in the vehicle.

This is what happened to day in my neighborhood. The street was blocked off with police tape and all of our news channels were here. Kind of scary to know that this can happen where I live.

Day 13

A couple of my kids (yes I consider my son's girlfriend one of my own) sitting around watching the Big Bang Theory. They were so happy that 24 started again this week that they forgot to watch this show yesterday. I love seeing them hang out together and being nice to one another. : )

Day 12

Today I worked on some cards I am doing for a friendship card swap. They are done and will go postal tomorrow. One swap down 4 more to go. : )

Day 11

Ok today the garage gave out. I guess it got tired of all the ups and downs of cleaning it out. : ) lol. Its a good thing Robert had just finished the last load to storage before it would no longer open. First call Monday morning is to get the door fixed. .

Day 10

What the house looked like before decorations came down.

Today we took down our Christmas decorations outside. Every year we rent a cherry picker (or whatever they are called) and we put up our lights the week before Thanksgiving. We also put up 11 of our neighbors. We all share in the cost of renting the machine. Here are the boys getting ready to take the lights down.

Day 9

Went to Thompson ES to have lunch with my wonderful friends Danielle and Joy. I love my girfriends and miss working with them so much!

Day 8

Took the boys to their Orthodontist appointments. They have had their braces for 6 months now. They got to get out of school early and have lunch with me. : )

Day 7

Took down our Christmas tree. We usually wait until after Little Christmas Jan. 6 to take our tree down. This year I took a couple of pictures of some of our ornaments.

This is a paint can I am doing for a swap I am in on the Cricut Message board. I should be done filling it this week.

Day 5

I got my desk cleaned up a little. Now to work on the other half of the room where all my scrap stuff is. : )

We hadn't been shopping in a while so we loaded up.

I got the first two books in the Twilight series for Christmas. I started reading them on 12/27/08. I read them so fast that I had Robert get me the the next 2 and finished all of them on Sat 1/3/09. Great books.

Day 2

We got the kids Wii Fit for Christmas. We all are having so much fun using it.
