Day 89

Today was another track meet day. Dominic came in 1st in his first race 4x8 relay, 1st in the 800 open and 2nd in the 4x4 relay. I forgot to take my camera. Darn it. I knew the day I'd forget he would do something like this. : (

Since I didn't have my camera on me I took a picture of the screen while watching Dancing with the Stars. My prediction for the top 3 are: Gile, Shawn and Melissa.

Day 88

I finally finished the Easter swap can that is due April 4. Well Austin helped me. It will be going out in the mail tomorrow.

Day 87

6 seconds faster than his last meet. :)

We have spent the last 2 days at the Las Vegas Track Classic. Dominic did amazing. He took 2nd in his first run. The true mile or 1609. He was ahead the whole race until the finish line and the other guy took it by less than 6/10th's of a second. His next race wasn't that good. He was cramping up from his first race. He came in 12th out of 24. At least he wasn't last. Here is his time and the next picture is one of the other schools coaches helping him off the track because he ran so hard he could not move. I'm proud of him!

Day 86

I thought I'd get a early start on my POTD. Out of my 4 boys, 3 of them play an instrument. Dominic you all know, plays the drums. He wants to learn the Bass guitar. Brandon and Austin both play guitar. Christopher plays video games. lol Anyway this is the wall at the top of the stairs where we hang our hats/guitars. I love it. The saying above says: Creative work is Play!

Day 85

Well its time for another one of my snowmen. This was given to me from a very dear friend. If she checks out my blog she will know who it is. Luv ya! You can never go wrong if you give me a snowman as a gift.

Day 84

My oldest decided to shave off most of his beard. I like it, but he already is saying he's going to grow it back.

Day 83

I went to lunch with my good friend Michelle and her boys. We stopped by my old school and visited with Danielle and Joy. We use to all be in PTA together, well not Joy, but she did help us out when needed.

It's Twilight time! We had such a good time. We ate, we scrapped, and of course we watched Twilight. I made the boys stay upstairs for our all girls night. My friend Michelle is here from Oregon on spring break. I haven't seen her in so long. It was really good to hang out with her. She looks great after being so sick.

Day 81

Movie Sunday. We went to see I Love you, Man. It was pretty funny. Then we came home to find an alternate place to show the movie tomorrow. If the wind doesn't stop blowing it will be inside the living room. After that we went to Kirstin's house for cake and ice cream. She turned 20 today. Happy Birthday Kirstin.

Day 80

Today was a day for spring cleaning outside. The kids don't really use the trampoline anymore, so we decided to take it down. Now they are saying they will use it. No dice. This is a picture of Brandon jumping off of it. As it was coming down.

Day 79

Well guess who just got here? Yep its Edward from Twilight. He's ready to Party with us girls on Monday lol. I will be going to get the movie at Midnight. I really hope they have some extras, I did not preorder it.

Day 78

Today I went to Leticia's house for a scrapbook class. We made these 2 adorable albums and had a delicious lunch. One is a family tree album, and the other one is for spring. Leticia used the spring stack and WIMG for some of the cuts on the spring album. not real sure about the other products. Let me tell you she is one talented lady. We are trying to talk her into doing a blog with all her wonderful creations.

Day 77

I didn't get around to posting POTD for 3/18/09 because Kirstin (Christopher's girlfriend) got a call from her Aunt saying she couldn't get a hold of her grandma. I told Christopher to go with her to check on her. Its a good thing he went. They found her on the floor. She had passed away somewhere between 24-36 hrs prior. We spent most of the night over at the grandmas house waiting for the coroner to come. My heart is aching for her. Her parents are in Australia right now so we have been taking care of her.

Day 76

Happy St. Patricks Day!

I took 2 of the boys to the Extreme Makeover house to see the reveal, but we were about 20 mins too late. I got a couple of pics, but nothing great. Here are the boys in front of the house and hundreds of people. And one of Ty, He's the one in the light shirt. lol

Day 75

Today was Dominic's 1st track meet of the season. He ran the mile in 4.56. That is qualifying time. YEAH! Our team took 1,2,3,4. Robert was on his way to the meet and the tire on my truck blew out on the free way. AAA got there in about 1 hr so he only missed his first race.

Day 74

Wasn't feeling good last night so forgot to post todays picture. I am working on a snow wordbook album. I know most of you are probably sick up to here with snow, but we here in Vegas rarely get to see it in our own back yards. So when it snowed here we got a bit crazy. I am finally getting around to scrapping those pics and using my jukebox to make this.

Day 73

I got the opportunity to visit the new Extreme Home Makeover house here in Vegas today. It was pretty cool to see how fast they really do put up the house. Ty was in Atlanta doing another house (they work on 2 at a time). He should be in Vegas on Monday. I am hoping my friend Bridgette will call me to come down again. She had VIP passes so we were right up there. Got a picture with Eduardo one of the designers. He's not only tall but cute. So I will be posting a few pics as my POTD. This will probably be one whole page in my book.

Day 72

Its Friday the 13th. Are you superstitious? I'm not, but I thought I'd put it out there. Today's POTD is: One of my families favorite restaurants Chili's. We go there quite often. I am hoping it doesn't close down like so many others have recently.

Day 71

Austin tested for his next belt today. He did really well. I'm sure he passed, but we won't find out until Sat.

Day 70

Dominic has now become a mini entrepreneur. We made him a shirt with his band name on it and today he wore it to school. He got 30 orders for T-shirts with the band name on it. So today was spent looking for T-shirts and getting them made.

Day 69

I forgot to load my POTD. It's a really simple card made with the Hello Kitty Cart.

Day 68

Robert playing with the Yudo. He is trying to make me some shirts for a Twilight DVD viewing party that me and some friends are going to have. I can't wait to see how they turn out.

Day 67

I dared Austin to jump in the pool and do 4 laps for $10.00. The pool temp was 42*. He only made 2 laps before jumping out. (he still gets the money just for doing it)

Day 66

The boys have been talking about the movie Watchmen since they knew it was going to be made. I was talking about it since I knew Jeffery Dean Morgan : ) was going to be in it. Well today we went to see it and in my honest opinion it SUCKED! Maybe its that I didn't read the book or wasn't a follower, but 2 1/2 hrs were wasted today.

Day 65

TGIPD: Thank God its Pay Day. Pay day is the 15th and 30 or last day of the month. (Well its supposed to be) Every single payday we have to do the cross your fingers and hope the girl has it ready for Robert to pick up. Sometimes she can be almost a week late. So I figured I'd take a picture of our drive thru at the bank. Because when I get to go there its time to "Celebrate".

Day 64

Well today I went and hung out with a couple of friends to scrap, eat and just chat. I think a couple of us did more chatting than creating. ; ) Anyway I did take pictures, but there is no way I am going to post any of the pics I took. I look horrible. Sorry gals. I did have lots of fun though and can't wait until Leticia's class. So I had to get another picture and what I took is a picture of Survivor. Another show we are still addicted to.

Day 63

Jones Soda. The boys love it. I don't see the fascination with it, but ever since they had it a couple years ago in San Diego they have to have it. Especially green apple.

Day 62

Happy 14th Birthday Brandon! We love you!

We let the kids pick what they want for dinner. Brandon picked Famous Daves. Robert had to go to school tonight so it was just me and the kids. Each of us put $14.00 into Brandon's cards plus a gift.

Day 61

Happy Birthday to me. he he he! I went and had a seaweed wrap/massage earlier in the day. then Kirstin and Christopher made me dinner(with help from Austin). Yummy angel hair pasta. This is how Robert and the boys decorated the table with tons of confetti. I think we will be cleaning that up for quite some time. He got me the Yudo (for those of you that don't know what this is, it's a at home screen printing machine) and a camera to carry in my purse. Yeah, no more carrying around my Canon. I had a great day. Thanks to my family and friends for making my day special.

Day 60

I forgot to post this yesterday, but here is my POTD for March 1. Austin got night vision goggles for Christmas.He was playing with it yesterday, Brandon and Robert put them on Bandit. This is what he looked like. Poor Bandit.
