Still in first
Its race day again. Last race of the HS season. State finals. Dominic will be running in the 4x8 relay as anchor. No pressure there. I told him if he loses he will be walking home. Not really. Wish him luck. He's gunning for that State ring. He doesn't race until 3:30. (he was supposed to run anchor, but they gave him lead spot).
Just got home from Dominic's race. He did great as an individual, but as a team the 3 other members didn't do so well. He was in 1st for the first lap and a half and then fell back to 3rd. Once he handed off the baton, the next guy fell to 5th and they just couldn't catch up from there. The team came in 6th overall at the last min. Oh well his first yr going to State, he's got 2 more yrs.
