Ok I know its supposed to be a picture of the day,POTD, but I just had to post something else we did last night. One of the teachers at Brandon and Austin's school was in a terrible motorcycle crash on Easter morning. He was hit head on by a truck and was pinned under the truck for quite some time. No cell reception where they were. He broke all his ribs, both wrist, ankles, hips, and knee. Thank God he was wearing a helmet. Anyway he survived it all, but since he is a teacher he only has so much sick time off and then he will no longer have pay. The kids at the school put on a benefit concert for him and his family. They also had a blood drive. I have never given blood before, not sure why. I'm not scared of needles or anything, just never have done it. So today is the first time I gave blood. It felt good :)
Happy Cinco de Mayo all you party people. lol I am going out to lunch with my 2 love birds (Christopher and Kirstin) and my friend Carol for Mexican. It will be the only time today that I will get to celebrate. Margaritas anyone? I have to make spaghetti for dinner because Dominic has to load up on the carbs. He is running at Regionals this week and first race is tomorrow.
Well, it looks like everyone is having a good time.. Tell Dominic I said "good luck" for his race tomorrow
