We have for the past few yrs put our stocking on the stair railings. Since there are so many of us they would not fit on our tiny fireplace mantle. I like how it looks this way better. I made most of the boys stockings. I still need to make new ones for me and Robert. I made ours when we first got together in 1988.
That sure looks nice like that! Makes it easier for Santa to fill, too!

ReplyDeleteWhat a GREAT idea Bridget!!! This is our first Christmas in our new house and I started decorating today...fun!!! I am looking forward to decorating our stair rail with my hubby's help on Saturday...first time in a two story house =)
