We are on a major forced budget due to issues at Roberts work. I had to tell the kids that we will be eating a lot of ghetto foods (inside joke about foods they hate) in the next few weeks. They were not happy. I guess for them it started tonight. A couple of them do not like Tacos or taco bowls (You would never know they are half mexican), lol But I do, so you either eat what I make, make yourself something or sit at the table and watch. We have some of our best conversations/laughs at the dinner table. 99% of the time we are all sitting down together for dinner. I love that.
If this is what you call ghetto food I'm in! That looks good!! I love mexican food. I need to break down and make Kyle eat what we eat but I'm scared that he would starve!! He is the most pickest eater alive! I have to cook for DH and then a separate something for Kyle. I blame it all on my mom lol! I haven't found anything YET that both of my boys will eat that's the same so aggraviating! Hope everything will work out for the good with your DH job.

Same here...it's tight all over. I LOVE that taco bowl!!!! Did you make the bowl yourself? I'd love to be able to buy these somewhere!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think that is a bad thing to eat...I would love to have a taco salad for supper. We always had the same rule at our house...at the table when the food was placed there and eat what you were served or find the peanut butter and jelly. DD ate lots of pb&j when she was young! Even asked me one time if she could be a vegan...she only eats corn and peas...I think she would starve.
