Amsterdam Theatre where we say Mary Poppins.
This morning we got up and drove to Central Park, it started to snow. How cool is that. While there we stopped at the Dakota, where John Lennon lived and died. Saw strawberry fields. Dominic is a big Beatles fan. So this was a added bonus for him. From there we went down to St. Pauls Church. This church is right behind/front of where the Twin Towers fell. Amazingly nothing was damaged other than a tree. Another one has now been planted in its spot. Very touching Memorial inside. We then went to Ground Zero. Construction has already started on the new Freedom Tower. We spent a couple of hours in Rockefeller Plaza before going to the Metropolitan Art Museum. From there it was dinner and off to see Mary Poppins. What a great show to see for our first Broadway Play.
My DD and I saw Mary Poppins when it first opened! What a great show! We never expected her to fly over the audience! I loved the part when she slid UP the banister! LOL! Looks like you all had a great trip. Sorry you got TP'd but it still looked like fun!
